WORKERS BLACKTOWN MASTER PLAN
The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that the long-awaited refurbishment of the Workers Blacktown Club site at 55 Campbell Street has now commenced.
We thank you in advance for your support and patience as we build a better club for you.
New Temporary Entrance
Once you have entered through the glass doors, you will head to the left and then make a right through our new tunnel to enter the club via Impressions Café. Alternatively, you can go left toward Salon Gi Hair Studio, Community First Credit Union or toward the Eastern Terrace to access the club’s facilities.
New Welcome Desk Location
Ask our friendly door staff if you have any simple membership requests, such as needing a new membership card, however for all other enquiries such as purchasing tickets to our Diamond Showroom shows, head to the new Welcome Desk which is located at the bottom of the escalators.
Jac Mac Lounge is Back!
We farewell our temporary Pop Lounge on Level One that has served us well over the past several months, but the previous lounge area, the Jack McNamara Lounge has returned. There you will find our Raffles every Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon, Trivia every Friday, and Free Live Music every Saturday.
Impressions Café and Dining is available to serve you from 9am til late. Head to our website to check out the menu as well as our $10 lunch specials, $13 daily specials, and the $25 member’s combo, which is a perfect option for redeeming your Dine & Discover vouchers. If you are heading to a show in the Diamond Showroom, why not pre-book our Pre-Show Dinner menu in Hi Lights Revolving Restaurant? Hi Lights Revolving Restaurant is also available for High Tea, large function bookings and other exciting events, see the website for more information.
Head through the new temporary entrance, turn left at the Impressions Café & Dining service point and head toward the far wall. There are male and female toilets, as well as a parent’s room. Toilets are also located at the back of the club, head across the Jack McNamara Lounge and you will find female toilets and male toilets, as well as an accessible toilet. There is a ramp from Impressions down the Jack McNamara Lounge for wheelchair access to these toilets.
The ATMs that were previously at the entrance have now been relocated further inside the club. Head through the new temporary entrance, turn left and you will see three ATMs on the far wall, near the toilets and TAB.
Our sporting viewing and TAB betting facilities are still located in the current space; however, the amount of seating has been reduced due to the temporary relocation of gaming machines. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Most of Level One is currently under refurbishment. Unfortunately, there are no longer any dining options on that level, including the buffet which is now permanently closed. Access to the Diamond Showroom or the Wattle / Waratah functions rooms is via the elevator at the back of the club or the escalators. Access to the Ballroom or Marana function room is via the elevator at the front of the club or the stairs near the new temporary entrance. Toilets on this level are located within each of the larger function rooms.
For wheelchair access to the Diamond Showroom, Wattle or Waratah functions rooms or Therapy Care, please speak to our friendly door staff who will assist you via the front elevator.
Parklane Airbridge from Level 4 Carpark
Whilst Level One is undergoing refurbishment the Parklane airbridge will continue to be closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience.
